So a few take aways from the M2 announcements:
- No more 8 core GPU options for new MacBook Air M1 configurations.
- The M2, like the M1, cannot “officially” support 2 external monitors.
- The new M2 models have better screens which now support 1 billion colors, albeit most likely through actual 8-bit screens + FRC to simulate 10-bit color.
- The MagSafe charging port is back.
I wonder if the MacBook Air M2 and MacBook 13.6” M2 have solved the issues with TB3/USB-C 4 ports being rather finnicky?
