Thanks for mentioning this book! I’ve started in on the intro and wanted to know how well he handles potential spoilers. His “Despite avoiding spoilers so far as possible, I don’t accept the joyless view that one can’t take pleasure in a mystery if one already knows how it ends.” is not all that reassuring to me.
