Kind of in the same vein as "alternate uses for Calibre" in tracking my wish list, I also use Calibre to track some of the piano sheet music I play. I keep a PDF copy of each piece, and a URL that links to a video (typically on YouTube) of someone performing the exact version of the piece that is in the PDF. It sometimes helps in the initial learning phase for a new piece to see the music ("View PDF in Browser" in Calibre-Web) while listening to it (Click on "URL" in Calibre-Web). The built-in webserver in Calibre may provide these same features, but I use the third-party Calibre-Web personally. I set the color of the Calibre-generated book cover based on the difficulty level of the piece (beige for easy, blue for moderate, gray for difficult).
