Follow the advice in the popup and click on the Attempt to support newer firmware option on the Metadata, on device & advanced tab of the configuration dialog for the KoboTouch and/or KoboTouchAdvanced drivers. If any issues occur with this, that will be posted about since it would occur with the beta testers before the firmware would see public release.

The warning in the popup is mostly a CYA just in case something goes wrong.

If you don't want to do this, you'll have to wait for the next release of calibre where the database version update will be accounted for.
