We're re-watching Stranger Things, Seasons 1-3, as Mr. H can't remember a damned thing about it, before we watch S. 4. I've been watching Signora Volpe, on Acorn, which is a very soft cozy mystery series; the MC is a bit of a Mary Sue, but hey....it's okay. I could live without it, if it ceased, but it's a nice bit of time filler. Runs in the background whilst I'm reading.
Oh, also watching Joe Pickett. Trying to decide now in...episode 3? 4? If I like it or not. The lead character is so diffident it's hard to decide. I get that that's how CJ Box wrote him, and in the novels, it's explained far better--but on the screen, it just comes off as lacking affect.
Given the dearth of anything really terrific on, starting to seriously consider binging Bab5.

To be fair, the FreeTV Bosch ads are VERY short - don't let that dissuade you. Maddie was never a major character in the books, and considering that Bosch was in Viet Nam, not Afghanistan as in Legacy, and Maddie was a result of his first book marriage to Eleanor Wish, the Maddie in 2022 Legacy would be far older. The actress is cute, and I admire any young actress who eschews breast enhancement as her primary career strategy, but she just doesn't seem to have that much to offer compared to the someone like the utterly fabulous Kaitlyn Dever in Justified.
Joe Pickett is a series? I read the 1st 2 on a recommendation from a fellow Jack Reacher fan and may continue it in the future but so far no Reacher by any stretch of the imagination. But then I wasn't that impressed with Reacher at first either, abandoning midway through book 4 but then going back to it and finishing the series. When Amazon replaced the ludicrous Tom Cruise as Reacher it was a fun series to watch too.
