Oh, the Maddie story lines started to really put me off in the original Bosch, too. Don't care. Can't
abide the character; don't believe she'd become a cop if you paid her a million bucks to do it. Glad to know this so I don't waste time on
Legacy, especially since Amazon thinks it's appropriate to force me to sit through adverts for it. (Deranged thinking, IMHO.)
We're re-watching
Stranger Things, Seasons 1-3, as Mr. H can't remember a damned thing about it, before we watch S. 4. I've been watching
Signora Volpe, on Acorn, which is a very soft cozy mystery series; the MC is a bit of a Mary Sue, but hey....it's okay. I could live without it, if it ceased, but it's a nice bit of time filler. Runs in the background whilst I'm reading.
Oh, also watching
Joe Pickett. Trying to decide now in...episode 3? 4? If I like it or not. The lead character is so diffident it's hard to decide. I get that that's how CJ Box wrote him, and in the novels, it's explained far better--but on the screen, it just comes off as lacking affect.
Given the dearth of anything really terrific on, starting to seriously consider binging
Bab5.
