There were some issues with firmware version 4.31 that could lead to the device rebooting. One mainly meant that the database was getting corrupted or not updating leading to related issues. The other seemed to be related to fonts, but, I could never quite pin it down. Kobo did work on both these issues and they appear to be fine in 4.32.

For the Libra 2, there have been some reports of other issues. Hangs, not being able to boot if WiFi was off, buttons not responding when reading (though that might be the Sage, or both).

If the crashes only happen when reading, it suggests an issue with the book. Editing it for errors should fix that. There is one hang and reboot that could be trigged by a very large kepub when opening it the first time.
