I have a PW5 on 5.14.1.1.
It was never used since purchase and had 5.14.0.1 until an hour ago. Followed the steps to the letter. Encountered the application error and followed the restart steps. After restarting, the "Get Started" button did nothing.
After a few restarts and different attempts to get it working, I deleted the ".demo" and loaded the bin back on and reflashed the kindle with the same firmware. Tried the exact same steps again and this time didn't encounter an application error.
Clicking on the "Get Started" restarted my kindle and now everything is in working order. Maybe someone else had this issue or not and this would help. Or someone else already posted this. In that case, I'm sorry for my laziness.
