Make sure you are using the coplate version of KUAL from the snapshot thread here:

Copy the contents of MRPI to the root of your Kindle. Then copy the bin file from the KUAL package into the "mrpackages" folder. Now eject your Kindle. Type ";log mrpi" into the search bar in your Kindle and KUAL will begin installing.
