My Kindle Paperwhite PW4 (Serial no. prefix 'G000 PP') is stuck on a screen that says, on the lower part of the display:
This demonstration device is either missing content or is disconnected from the network
Followed by a large banner bellow, saying:
CONFIGURE DEVICE
None of which are interactive. Tapping on them does nothing. The only possible interaction with this screen is tapping the image on the background, which merely changes it for another one.
The so called "secret gesture" referred in step 8, doesn't work:

I'd appreciate any help, and also would recommend that the guide be updated with a warning regarding this risk.
