A fun long-term effect of COVID I've discovered: Hair loss. More specifically, telogen effluvium, which can be caused by any major stress (including COVID-19). Every time I brush, my hair comes out.
The good news is that it should grow back. Hopefully.
Fortunately, most of the rest of the symptoms have been going away; I'm no longer hit with a wave of symptoms every few days like I did the first few months. Mostly just the occasional bout of cough now (and a nagging sore spot in my ribs from all the coughing).
