Which brings me back to the point that KOReader is for the "power user", the guy who enjoys spending his afternoons tinkering in the garage as opposed to the guy who just wants to enjoy a leisurely drive through the country.
The option is there for those who want it (and I love the fact that Kobos are open devices that allow for this sort of customization), but, as you say, KOReader is not for everybody.
