You could try uploading usblog.exe (in the sig). (Go up to Windows)
When you plug in a device in EDL mode it should come up as 05c6/9008.
Note that EDL is persnickety and you can't disconnect and reconnect the cable. You have to go to EDL mode with the cable connected and start fresh.
Windows 11 could be an issue.
I have a utility to check this, but it's not so disimilar from edl.exe as to really tell you anything. Still, it could be useful if this can't be resolved.
