I've been using Kindle version 1.17 as recommended on this forum for a while now.
Unfortunately, I have had to swap computers and installed 1.17 onto the new one. When I tried to sign in using my Amazon ID and password Amazon locked my account. I could not reset the password to unlock and had to telephone Amazon support.
They informed me that their system will no longer recognise sign-ins from old versions of Kindle software and you have to download the latest version from their website. It only appears to lock you out when you do a fresh sign in as the old software is still running and logged in on my old computer. Unfortunately this is virtually unusable due to problems with the system.
Does anyone have any suggestion as to how I can download using latest amazon version and still be able to access the file to convert it to mobi format using my ePubToolbox software that I purchased?
