As far as I know, you can't. Fields have all leading and trailing spaces stripped.

You could add a thin empty column icon to the left-aligned column. For example, the attached icon is 40x128 empty white with the transparent color set to white. This advanced icon rule template:

The empty icon is between these lines. Right click toward the left until you get the option to copy/download it. EDIT: See @BetterRed's post below where he attached to file as a zip. Much easier.
