Sure. Sort of like pounding my head against a wall because it will feel good whenever I stop? No thanks. Ads pay for free things I like. As I said already, I only frequent sites with well behaved ads. I'm not going to reward sites that employ overbearing, intrusive and slow-loading ads by continuing to frequent them using an ad-condom. Nor am I going to punish sites that respectfully present a few unobtrusive ads to help defray the costs of maintaining a site I enjoy by blocking them. I'm just going to continue only frequenting sites that don't use abusive ad strategies instead.

Same with broadcast television commercials. I'm quite capable of easily tuning them out if necessary. I typically only ever notice there's a commercial running when someone else in the room is screaming bloody murder about them. *shrug*
