Reset fresh and start again
- If you need to reset your device whilst in Demo Mode, enter ;uzb in the search bar to enable USB storage mode then create an empty file named "DO_FACTORY_RESTORE" at the root of the Kindle storage. Once this has been created, reboot the device.
Don't refer to /mnt/us. Copy to root folder.
So you your device /dev/sdb is your Kindle, just do sudo mount /dev/sdb /mnt.
Inside the /mnt, you add the files to that root folder.

Then I go to settings but the Update Your Kindle option is unavailable. I don't know what to do now. I'm guessing I'm losing the jailbreak if I reboot at this point, besides being stuck at demo mode. Any suggestions?
