I've never jailbroken one before since this is my 1st kindle anyway. I used to read on an android tablet with Moon+ Reader and it was a pretty good experience. Then i got the kindle, fell in love with it and so on.
The reason i wanna jailbreak now is to get KOREADER on the device and epub support.
I'm on the 5.14.1 version so the upcoming jailbreak concerns ppl like us.
Here are my concerns:
1) Does the jailbreak mess with the autosleep function of the kindle? Like, does it disable it so that i have to switch off the device to save battery (i never switch it off as it is)
2) Is the battery life affected negatively ? The device came with the 5.13.6 and all the subsequent updates i made reduced battery performance and made the kindle quite laggy
3) Should i go through with the jailbreak right away once it's available or should i wait a couple of weeks to see how other ppl's kindles are performing?
