Continuing with Whitechapel. The first season (three episodes) focus on Jack the Ripper, the second season (also 3 episodes) deal with the Kray twins. The third season is six episodes and doesn't have a central crime they focus on. Instead it seems that each two episodes focus on a crime. I'm not sure where the first two episodes got their inspiration from. The second and third episode were inspired by H.H. Holmes' Murder Castle. Which is and American crime.

I don't mind the two episodes per case format, that's pretty standard in multiple British crime series. But it would have been better, IMHO, if they would have stuck to historical crimes in London, or at least historical UK crimes.
