I'm looking forward to next Wednesday, when it's King's Day in the Netherlands. I have planned to do nothing useful.
In the past I usually had Sunday off, I might do a load of laundry, but I had the morning to myself and the afternoon I spend with my family.
Since my father went to the hospital six and a half weeks ago I haven't had a proper day off. On Sunday afternoon it's my turn to visit my father, I already start chores on Sunday. Because I now work full time I have to do the bigger chores on Sunday and Monday when the store's closed. On Monday I run errands, clean and do the laundry.
Next Wednesday it just my mother and I, my sister isn't planning on coming because of the festivities it'll be hard to get in and out of the city center. Which also means I can't visit my father that day.
Depending on the weather I might go for a morning walk (before it gets busy with partying people), in the afternoon I'll see what I'm in the mood for. It'll be noisy outside, so whatever I'm going to do it'll be whilst wearing my noise cancelling headphones.
