Now I have a new white Libra 2 (because the other one has some stuck pixels and got returned) and I am facing the same problems.
When I installed everything and opened up a book, I immediately powered the device off and tadaaa, I saw the power off bookcover. I started it up again read a few pages and powered it off again. Now I am back to the white page while powered off. I started it again, switched on the light and then powered it off for the third time and to my surprise the light stayed on for minutes on the white background until I made a hard reset (?) by holding the power button for some seconds until the device shutts off and then press the button again to start it.
I dont really have a clue what is going on
