Then you just put the new battery into position and plug in the connector. I didn't even need to put any new adhesive into place to hold the battery in position. The remnants from the old battery were more than sufficient.

Thanks for the heads-up about the glue! I shall be quite careful! It will be great if enough adhesive remains in place in my Nova to keep the new battery in place!
I admit I was tempted to buy a new Nova, but if a battery is a lot less expensive than a new device, and if my present device is perfectly good, it seems like a good idea to try the new battery route first.
