Excellent recomendations! I'm on Readium right now. You shed light a lot about the issue. I read your other comments, and your recommendation is very useful: to make good epub with CSS, not only using b, u, i.
I think maybe a note on the front of the epub to discourage the use of crappy ereaders, like MoonReader. (Too bad because the sync option with a cloud service is very useful).
