I really wish people would not do that. I mean, how do you know what I want to look at? A really simple thing is that the version of the driver is not there so that I know what code base to look at. And, it doesn't show options being used or any other errors that might have happened. Attach the full log. Or, if you don't want others to see it, upload it somewhere and PM me the link.
But, I'm guessing that you have disabled the kepub handing in the driver. If you are using my beta posted above, this will be "Send books as kepub". In the released version, it is "Enable Extended Kobo Features". In both versions, that option basically turns on whether to transform an epub to kepub or not. It shouldn't have any effect on other formats in the library, such as kepubs. But, with it disabled, it blocks the renaming of kepubs. That code has been in the driver for at least six years, so it isn't anything new. I do not believe that is correct behaviour. I have changed this in the
attached beta I have
posted in the extended drivers thread.
For the record, if you turn off the kepub transformation, then you probably should go back to the built-in KoboTouch driver. The other options, such as the hyphenation can be done without this, but, I do not know if the RMSDK based epub reader uses those options.
