Is UsbLog showing a green device? Maybe with "d00d" in it?
Do you have a driver for fastboot? Zadig is your friend here too.

If you really want and can get back to EDL, you could:

C:\>edl.exe /u /w /pboot_a magisk_whatever
C:\>edl.exe /z
