Unfortunately I cannot purchase a Gift Card (and I do have U.S. Paypal account with enough money in it, but it would have to be linked to the Peruvian bank from which the debit card was issued).
Gifting the audiobook to my gmail account results in the same thing: debit card not accepted (only U.S. or Canada) in order to pay for the Gift Card. Or use Paypal,
BUT the money already in my account must be linked to my Peruvian bank. I didn't see where I could simply move the approx. $9.00 (to purchase the 3 audiobooks) to Chirp and just pay for them.
I appreciate the suggestions - I really do - but I suppose we all need to get back to the
regularly scheduled bargains and updates of this thread.
