So if adobe drm is really fully cracked even for newer version, right now the real problem is how to deal with KFX since that still enforced by amazon.
Right now we got both old kindles-usb trasfer-old kindle pc app (really old to remove KFX drm with KFX Input, until 1.34 for the registry script that disable KFX support so that it will download the old version that can be drm-free or with a drm easy to remove, with KFX even drm-free ebooks will get a drm from amazon for some reason).
If that's continue to be true in the future I think that I will start to buy ebook on kobo instead of amazon when possible. I usually prefer to buy on amazon since they usually both got a drm and I mostly use my kindle to read so I just remove the drm, store the backup as soon as I buy it and read the drm version downloaded from the cloud. But that can change.
I have programming knowledge but unfortunately I know absolutely nothing about the drm removal side so I hope that the community will be able to intervene (I know that it is not at all simple or obvious that it will be possible at all).
