I have the lucky position of sitting within hailing distance (two desks) from the administrator of the bloody program (who's a nice guy just doing his job
) so I can shout "oh hell, this one's blocked too, open up 'ebay' for me!", or send him an instant message with the culprit page. Since I have to do a lot of browsing in all sorts of places for my job... hehehe.
I'm actually the secretary of the IT dept., so I don't give user support normally, but some people, you know, just ring up "IT" and don't notice the difference. The CEO's secretary rang once and started off the convo with "I have two elephants...", which had me so busily thinking "WHAT??? Where does she keep them??" I almost missed the rest of the sentence, LOL. Turned out she sponsors them, and gets monthly reports on their wellbeing and so on... Websense was cutting off her access to these reports, so she says "well, I know it's personal and not business matters, but I want/need to see it!!"
