Why would I want, say The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, which was published in 1979, listed as published 2018 because that happens to be the date of that release that I purchased? (crazy if you ask me
)
If I buy the Bluray of The Matrix, I expect it to be listed in 1999, not 2022 because that is when I purchased the newly released box set of the four movies.
