I finished...

A Riddle in Bronze by Simon Haynes. A fantasy set in the late nineteenth century with evil spirits and curious metallurgy. This was a fun story, easy to read and certainly kept me entertained ... but I have to say that it never really grabbed me. If you enjoyed the Hal Spacejock series I think you will probably like these, the story is quite different but the writing style is recognisable. For my tastes ... 3.5/5.

Next up I am eyeing off the first Dr Ruth Galloway mystery from Elly Griffiths (aka Domenica de Rosa), The Crossing Places.
