We have been hearing the peepers for about a month at dawn and again after 4 in the afternoon. The birdsong is beautiful. I'm in the big city, but I live on the back and birds gather in the trees.
We had a little bit of everything on Saturday. Sometimes cloudy, sometimes sunny, and often rainy. I was on a walking tour in the East Village around 2pm when it started pouring and then there was some thunder and lightening. It seemed to cold for that! (52 degrees F.) The temp was about the same all day or between 48-53, but it was warm in the sun and cold when the wind gusted and in the shade.
We are in for some winter on Monday and Tuesday with lows in the 20s.
