I did some experimenting and it seems that books that I converted prior to Mar 2022 work fine with the dark mode feature of the Kobo Libra 2. So…. Could there be an issue with the latest version of Calibre?
That being said, what are the thoughts of uninstalling calibre and reinstalling the previous version that has worked for me 5.36?
