FWIW many graphics cards can stress older PSU's on models not equipped for other than a simpler (early generation) graphics.
If your system did not come with a card WITH a power connector, you need to use care when adding one with. (the cards spec recommend minimum PSU watts, and that does not consider overclocked CPU's).
