I started the first Detective Inspector Chen book today and it's really, really good. Kinda like The Dresden Files, I guess, but less woobie and more demons? I also like that it's set in a futuristic China; I haven't seen much of that (in my admittedly limited sci-fi reading). Technology + paranormal/occult + mystery = awesome!

I also ended up buying Lord Darcy, and look forward to reading that whenever I get a chance to.
