A web search says that error message is most likely related to BIOS issues including sometimes a faulty CMOS battery.
Preview uses QtWebEngine which makes heavy use of gpu and launches its own process as well.
I found nothing in my search for that error with "QtWebEngine", so there does not appear to be a direct link.
I would either build you own or grab the official distribution version and see if that helps. Flatpack may be packaging it with really old glibc and etc to make it more portable but possibly causing problems.
