It's after side-loading that I usually notice it. The Forma no longer recognizes I was signed into my Wifi. After signing into my LAN once again, I check Overdrive and it's not signed in. When I try to log in, it laughs at me. Device Information > Reapir Your Kobo Account does nothing worthwhile and I'm forced to Factory Reset it. Then I get to spend the next hour or so moving my books back over and getting my reading status in some semblance of correctness. I'm pretty sure this is the second time this week this has happened.
EDIT: Kobo Utilities' Check Database function finds nothing wrong with the database.

I have been seeing forgetting of the WiFi network. I am fairly sure it is a side-effect of the other issues. I suspect it happens when the books partition gets mounted as read-only after connecting to a PC. I'm not completely sure of that as I never think to test until it is to late.
The suggestion from @compurandom about the "BookReader.sqlite" file is a good one. But, it is not possible to see if it corrupted as it is encrypted and cannot be opened without the key. From my use, it should be less than 1MB in size. It contains some details about library books and books from Kobo Plus. And I think a small amount of other information. I have seen it suddenly get to be the same size as the KoboReader.sqlite. That has happened occasionally since it was added and is unrelated to the current issues. But, when it happens, I frequently find the KoboReader.sqlite is also corrupted. When I see this, I remove the BookReader.sqlite. For me, there have been no side-effects, but, I rarely borrow books.
