It should work with a Kobo eink registered to ADE and Adobe on Windows, to transfer books. But though I have a Kobo I can't try it as I can't run a recent enough Adobe program. I only have XP on a VM.

The vast majority of the ebooks I read are read on the Kobo and are downloaded from Project Gutenberg.

The other problem I found with the Irish Library system is they often only have later books in a series. They claim it's the Publisher's fault.
