Dumb idea or brilliant idea? Setup syncthing to sync the koreader folder itself?
I read on three or four different devices.
Because I'm a little OCD, I like the same exact koreader setup on each one.
When adding a new device, I simply copy the koreader folder to the new device so I get a pretty accurate copy of the latest config.
But then, say I make a change for how I want books displayed on one device, but I'd like it across all devices? I thought I could use syncthing for this purpose, since I already have it set up to sync my ebooks across devices.
But probably there are some good reasons not to do this: i.e file/cache/config conflicts between devices, or maybe I'd like things done differently on my kindle paperwhite than my boox nova air or my samsung tablet etc.
Thoughts?
Would love to see some sort of multi - device configuration file sync in future releases of kodreader.
