I have used the usb cable plugged into the adapter that I charge my kindle with and I plugged into my laptop overnight from like 10pm something till 10am something and nothing and I have charged it with 2 different power cables you plug into the wall still nothing and keep in mind it has been months since my mom has used this kindle
