By registry its windows system program, registry its not option you find in Kindle. Here how to lauch windows registry:
How do I access Windows registry?
Click Start or press the Windows key . In the Start menu, either in the Run box or the Search box, type regedit and press Enter .
Be extremely careful with what changes you do in windows registry.
The magic trick to make old kindle version to download 1 single file - that caliber plugin drm remove is able to work with - you just update 1 existing registry key:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Amazon\Kindle\User Settings]
"isKRFDRendererSupported"="false"
