I've used something similar for several years without any trouble. I use one with a finger-ring, which makes it very secure for travel and falling asleep in bed - and I install it diagonally, which gives the most comfortable fit for me.

The one I use is the one linked below - I did try another brand for my Oasis, but the plastic "padding" on the ends didn't seem as solid and in fact left a tiny (almost invisible, but definitely there) dent on the Oasis.

In my bag, I use this sleeve - which isn't the cheapest version available, but I've had mine for four years now and it's still in perfect condition, so I'd recommend it.
