I hate it also, MonicaOP.
I have had Kindles back to the keyboard generations and have been satisfied with their operations but this latest update to Oasis is awful and user un-friendly. Why they didn't let you view the e-book titles in text view as well as by book covers is beyond me. It seemed such a simple thing to implement.
