I would rarely buy a paper novel or biography anymore, unless not available at a reasonable price in the right format of e-book. I don't usually read books over and over so when I'm done I can throw it away... that means DRM is not too big a deal for me with novels except that I can't share a DRM'd e-book after I'm done with it. So anything that is basically text-only and read from front to back is something that I try to get in e-book form.

But when it comes to technical reading and reference books that I want to flip through or navigate in a non-linear fashion, I still prefer paper. I buy a bunch of these.

So for novels I buy e-books or get PD/free stuff. For technical books, I still somewhat prefer paper, so I end up buying paper books all the time. Amazon gets lots of business from me.
