You could use Plato reader on a supported device. I think it's the perfect reader for being distraction-free. Koreader doesn't have a store, but there are so manly little options and tools and extensions that I would always get sucked in, and whenever I'd get back to reading I kept being distracted by every little thing that looks like a formatting error or issue. "Shouldn't the paragraphs be more flush with the page? Was that line supposed to be indented? Do I have to switch back to the book's embedded style to see these headers properly?"
I'm a lot worse than you but I find it pretty easy to forget all that using plato, and you can still exit Plato to once again access the store and everything. But it's discouraged because plato is so fast that I hate going back to that sluggish world.
