Use the "Move to archive" and then go into the archive and delete it from there.

But, I think I have missed something.

Did you buy a book and Kobo delivered the wrong book? If so, contact Kobo and get them to fix it. If this is the case, then deleting the book is the wrong thing to do. You won't be able to download the correct book when it has been updated.

Or did you buy the wrong book? If so, contact Kobo and discuss it. I have done this when I picked the non-English edition of something. They removed the book and gave me store credit.
