Scroll Mode in Onyx Boox

For PDFs, in scroll mode, when we push the page up/down buttons (or when tapping) how much the page goes up/down? Does the new page overlap with what we have already read or start from where we left off? I don't want to try to find where is the last line I've read.

BTW, please don't mention dotted line option. It's useless for me because since I use fit to width option, that line becomes invisible to me.
