2010: Kindle 2 international - white - traded in
2013 (order placed March): Kindle Paperwhite 1st version - traded in
2013 (October): Kindle DXG - lost after house move - probably still in a box somewhere
2014 (March): Kindle Basic 4 with the side buttons (gray) - traded in
2014: Kindle Voyage, got this delivered on release day, in October 2014 - traded in
2016 (January): Kobo Aura One - sold on Mobileread
2017 (order placed October): Kindle Oasis 2017 with 3G
2018: Kindle Oasis 2017 Champagne because I love gold. I sold the previous one.
2019 (March): Refurb Kindle Basic 4 because I missed the form factor. I couldn’t live without the front light though, so I traded it in for:
2019 (April): Kindle Basic - white - because I love a white ereader. Still have as back up reader
2019 (Order placed June): "All-new” Kindle Oasis 2019 with warm lighting - champagne color. Still have as my main reader
2021: Kobo Libra H2O (sold earlier this year) Enjoyed having this as I love white ereaders and I love the text layout on kobos.
2022: Kobo Libra 2 (returned) - although I really loved it, I kind of realized I don’t need two premium ereaders, so I returned it.
ETA: 2022: Revived my other half's PW10 and really enjoying reading on this, enjoying the compact size and the 'normal' shape. Making a grand total of 15.
This does not include the multiple ereaders I have bought family members for presents.
(Kindle Keyboard, Paperwhite 2, Paperwhite 2019 then Paperwhite 2021 for my husband, Paperwhite 3s for my kids, Kindle Keyboard then Voyage for my mother).
I also tried a BOOX something or other at some point but the screen substrate was broken on arrival, Amazon gave me a full refund but it put me off trying them again.
It is clear to me on writing this down just how much of a problem I have with respect to purchasing of ereaders.
I am now back to using only my 2019 Oasis, and much the happier for it.
ETA: Now switching between a PW10, Oasis and Basic. Making full use of syncing.
