Something more complicated like the Dungeons and Dragons line of books, I tag them all as Fantasy and Dungeons & Dragons, but then I also tag them by their setting: Forgotten Realms, Dark Sun, Eberron. Then if those books are part of a smaller series (and most of them are) I add the series info. All three Dragonlance Chronicles books are under the Dragonlance tag. But not all Dragonlance tagged books are part of the Dragonlance Chronicles series.
Hello guys,
You're both right, to manage the collections through the tags is totally acceptable and I can create more tags if needed. And for the series, I just discovered a new way (that u probably already knew): to play with the "metadata connections" in calibre, so it rename at-fly and number the titles. I tried with the kindle and it works perfectly. I guess it'd work as well for the kobo but I didn't try, it's already wrap again.
