And, where are the books not being detected as in a series? This is the editor section, which does not have any series handling it, so that confuses me. But, is the series not detected when:
  • Adding the book to calibre - if so, see @theducks reply.
  • Doing a metadata download - We need to know details of the book and the metadata sources you are using.
  • On the Kobo device - which needs the series info in the library, which means that one of the above has worked. And things to be configured correctly.
  • Somewhere else?
