The neighboring town where I have a second library card is going to start charging $50 annually. I am bummed as I do use their digital library quite a bit (they are affiliated with a statewide system so purchase a lot more books than my local library). But I am not sure I use it $50 worth. Especially since that money would have to come from my book budget and I'd rather buy specific books by authors I know I like.
